MudWorks Natural Building designed this outdoor bathroom, facilitating two consecutive weekend-workshops to build it. This project features a compost toilet, outdoor sink, and colorful relief sculptures.
The walls of this structure were framed using upcycled shipping pallets. Soil from on-site was used in the clay plaster, and the plaster was sealed with homemade clay paint.
The sink was upcycled for free, and simply connects to a garden hose for easy outdoor use. It flows into a greywater bucket below, with the option to later re-route water directly to the garden.
